V3.0 and V2.0 Prerequisite Downloads

These are the components that must be installed before Toad for SQL Server v3.0 or v2.0 can run:

• Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0
  • x86 Package
  • x64 Package
  • IA64 Package

   

• Microsoft SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO)
  • x86 Package
  • x64 Package
  • IA64 Package
    

SQL-DMO Note: The SQL-DMO install is actually a part of a bigger installer called the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Backward Compatibility Components. It is this installer’s SQL-DMO version that will allow connecting to a SQL Server 2005 server instance.

After this installer is invoked, you will get many options on which components to install. To install only SQL-DMO, just check only that option as shown below:
